House Rules

VERO VILLA Tacloban · Overnight and Day-Use

Two sets of rules. Most apply to every booking. Where an overnight stay and a Day-Use differ — mainly the hours and the pool — both are set out below. Your Rental Agreement states which one your booking is.

Overnight stays

Check-in and check-out

Check-in: 3:00 PM. Please let us know your expected arrival time.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Early check-in must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, is subject to availability, and is not guaranteed. An additional fee of ₱800 per hour may apply.
Late check-out must be requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled check-out, and is subject to availability — if no guests arrive the same day we may be able to accommodate it. An additional fee of ₱800 per hour may apply.

Before you leave

Do a final walk-through for your belongings — check drawers, closets and under the beds. We are not responsible for items left behind.
Dispose of all trash in the designated bins.
Wash used dishes, pots and pans; wipe down counters and tables.
Turn off all appliances, lights and air-conditioning, and close all doors.

Sleeping arrangements

Please use the designated beds rather than the couches or sofas, which are for sitting and lounging. Damage, stains or wear from improper use may be charged to the security deposit.

Guest and visitor verification

For the privacy and safety of every booking, VERO VILLA verifies all guests and visitors on entry.

Only registered guests and visitors approved by the main booking guest, or their assigned representative, are allowed in.
Staff may deny entry to anyone not confirmed or approved by the main guest.
Bedrooms and private areas are for registered overnight guests only. Event visitors may not enter bedrooms unless the main guest approves.

Setting up tables and chairs on the second floor — master's bedroom, bedroom 1, bedroom 2 and the family room — is not allowed.

Check-in procedures

Valid government-issued ID required — passport, driver's licence or national ID. The name on the ID must match the reservation; tell us in advance if the booking is under another name.
We may photograph the ID for verification only. It is stored securely.
No check-in without identification. If you have forgotten your ID, contact us as early as possible to discuss alternatives.

No tampering

Guests may not alter the walls, appliances, furniture or fixtures. That includes removing or relocating anything without approval from management, hanging items with nails, screws or hooks, using adhesives that could mark surfaces, and painting or drawing on the walls.

Temporary decorations: ask first. We recommend removable hooks or command strips that leave no marks, and please take them down before you leave.

Any damage or marking caused by tampering is charged to the guest. The property is assessed after check-out.

No smoking or vaping indoors

Not permitted in bedrooms, living room, dining room, restrooms or the indoor kitchen. Please use the designated outdoor areas. Violation carries a cleaning fee of at least ₱2,000 for deep cleaning and odour removal.

No pets

We cannot accommodate pets, so that the villa stays clean and allergen-free for everyone. Violation carries a cleaning fee of at least ₱2,000.

Neighbours, cleanliness, kitchen, parking

Keep noise down, especially after 10 PM. No loud music, shouting or disruptive behaviour after 10 PM.
Dispose of trash in the designated bins and keep common areas clean.
The indoor and outdoor kitchens and the BBQ area are yours to use.
Park in designated areas and do not block driveways.
Free Wi-Fi is available; the network and password are given at the villa. Please avoid illegal downloads or streaming.

Roof deck safety

For gatherings, parties or events on the roof deck, a strict maximum of 30 persons applies, for safety and comfort.
No running, jumping or rough play. Use the guardrails and do not lean over the edge.
Watch your step — surfaces can be wet. Children must be supervised at all times and must not play near edges or on furniture.
Do not climb on furniture, railings or structures. Keep personal items away from edges.
Drink responsibly and stay aware of your surroundings.
In severe weather, stay indoors and avoid the roof deck.
No fire pits, grills or open flames.
Familiarise yourself with the emergency exits before using the roof deck.

Swimming pool — overnight

7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: open
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: closed for cleaning and treatment
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM: open
12:00 midnight – 7:00 AM: closed for cleaning and treatment
Pool lights and pumps are switched off after 10:00 PM.

Use of the pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
No diving, running or rough play around the pool.
Please shower before entering.
No glass or plastic containers around the pool area.
No eating or chewing food in the pool.
Adults are fully responsible for supervising children and non-swimmers. Staff may stop pool use at any time if safety rules are broken or conditions become unsafe. The pool is strictly off-limits during closed hours.

Jacuzzi

Use is at your own risk — consult a physician if you have health concerns.
Do not use if pregnant, under the influence of alcohol, or if you have conditions such as heart problems or skin infections.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Maximum capacity: 2 persons.
Rinse off before entering. Remove jewellery, and avoid oils and lotions that could contaminate the water.
No glass containers and no food in or around the jacuzzi.
No diving, running or rough play. Use the jets as intended.
Report any problem with temperature or cleanliness immediately.

Day-Use bookings

Hours

Check-in: 3:00 PM · Check-out: 11:00 PM. Please let us know your expected arrival time.
Early check-in and late check-out follow the same rules as above — 24 hours' notice, subject to availability, ₱800 per hour.

Swimming pool — Day-Use

Pool hours: 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Water pumps are switched off after 10:00 PM.
All other pool rules above apply equally.

Day-Use bookings otherwise follow the same rules on identification, tampering, smoking, pets, neighbours, cleanliness, parking and the roof deck.

The Lease Premises and management reserve the right to amend these rules as necessary. Guests will be informed of any changes.
